Musk’s Grok releases first seven minutes of AI-generated Odyssey series

The Grok Imagine pilot arrives months after Musk criticized Christopher Nolan's $1.78 billion box office hit Christopher Nolan needed six countries and thousands of people to make his version of “The Odyssey.” Elon Musk’s xAI is attempting the same epic with a video generator. On October 23, 2026, xAI posted the first episode of an AI-generated “Odyssey” series to X. The pilot runs approximately seven minutes and 12 seconds. It was built with Grok Imagine, the company’s video-generation tool. The episode premiered on X. Musk followed it with a promotional post of his own. The credits list a collaboration with Wonder Studios X and director Dev Walker. The pilot features English dialogue. By late October, the clip had picked up millions of views on X. The Nathan Fielder documentary on Elizabeth Holmes jumped an eye-popping 25% from its hefty opening weekend to gross $19.5 million. That puts the buzzy film at $45.1 million domestic total so far, the 25th highest grossing documentary with room to grow. Tallahassee students trek to Atlanta for big concerts. Is it worth it?

Unlike travelling to Boston or New York City for a concert, where other attractions pull visitors into the city scape, students journeying to Atlanta rarely spend much time there, often coming and going within 24 hours. Students skip classes or rearrange work schedules to make the mighty trek northward, a drive that exceeds four hours one way and can become much worse in traffic. Thus, a concert becomes a road trip. For some, the road trip culminates in arriving back to Tallahassee at five in the morning, with deepened eye bags in their 9:20 AM biology lab.
