The project stirred controversy among former Bulls teammates, revealing stories that some felt should never have gone public. Hodges " an important part of the Bulls' 1991 and 1992 championship teams " criticized Jordan's decision to reveal private locker-room dynamics and personal moments that had occurred decades earlier. More specifically, he called out the NBA legend for describing the Bulls as a "traveling cocaine circus." Back in the '80s, the league didn't have the squeaky-clean, wholesome image it has today. Drug abuse was rampant, and some players were known to use cocaine recreationally. Jordan confirmed this in "The Last Dance," recalling how he attended a team party right before the start of his rookie year and saw some of his teammates…...
The North Shore: Surfing’s Most Hallowed Ground
1+ day, 22+ hour ago (264+ words) Editor's Note: This feature is presented by our partners at White Claw. Oahu's North Shore may be the most well documented place in all of surfing. There's Pipeline, of course, quite possibly the single most important wave in the sport, but there are world-class breaks all along the Seven Mile Miracle, and a rich community centered around them. So that's what made filmmaker Connor Trimble's job so tough when documenting this hallowed ground. Unlike most of the other director's in our Hometown Hype series, Connor had to tell the story of a place that had been told time and time again. How could he make it new? He turned his lens to the real people that live there and call the place home. "The North Shore of Oahu is the Mecca of the surf world, but it expands far beyond…...

WWE Survivor Series WarGames Match Order Predictions
1+ day, 23+ hour ago (562+ words) Paul Heyman has declared that Survivor SeriesWarGames will be the "best show of the year." The WWE Hall of Famer may have given us a spoiler, not a prediction. Both of the WarGames matches are as stacked as they've ever been. Combined, there are 14 former world champions competing in the structure, along with several of WWE's most promising future stars. John Cena will compete in his final Premium Live Event, defending gold against ESPN's #1 star under 30, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, in his hometown '619' of San Diego. A distinctive of the Triple H creative era, the show will only feature four matches (announced). With three hours to fill, and enormous expectations to live up to, the arrangement of the matches is critical. There's not much to work with so WWE has to get each move right. Here are my predictions for the…...

The new Stranger Things character was also an MLB All Star for the Brewers
2+ day, 10+ hour ago (329+ words) There's a new character on Stranger Things Season 5 named Derek Turnbow. There's a former Milwaukee Brewers pitcher named Derrick Turnbow. And if you factor in when the Stranger Things show takes place, they're pretty much the same age. The new season takes place in November 1987. The guy who turned into the MLB pitcher would've been 9 years old then. While it's not specifically stated in the show, that seems like a ballpark age for the fictional Derek, too. Did someone writing the script have a strong Brewers fandom? It sure seems possible. The real-life Turnbow was a fifth-round pick by the Phillies in the 1997 MLB Draft out of Franklin High School in Tennessee. He made his MLB debut in 2000 with the Angels. He didn't get back to the majors in 2001 or 2002, returning in 2003-04 to pitch in parts of two more campaigns…...
